The Ask

  • Naturally curious and passionate about consumer behaviour.  
  • A high level of motivation, passion and high sense of ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills needed to manage an incredibly diverse slate of work, clients and team personalities.
  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects and deadline-driven fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and manage chaos.

Qualitative Research and Consumer Insights skills

  • Meet and liaison with clients giving them an exposure to various kinds of research studies that can be conducted.   
  • Formulate plans or proposals to present to the sales team and clients.  
  • Understand and manage data sources, tools and technology – validate the same to ensure that data sources are credible and sufficient.     
  • Review data to ensure rich representation.         
  • Use statistical methods to organise information.
  • Advise and maneuver the team to conduct secondary research at multiple stages of the study so that there is enough understanding of the social content.     
  • Write reports and present results of the study.   
  • Advise clients and/or senior management on how to best use research findings.
Project Delivery skills
  • Gather, process, analyse and extract conclusions out of complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data coming from varying sources.
  • Design and develop frameworks within which each study which will be conducted.
  • Generate insights and recommendations for clients. Also build and grow the team’s understanding.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors in any discipline.
  • Added advantage if the candidate has a degree in Social Science, Culture Studies, Psychology, Marketing.
  • Should be very proficient in English – written and spoken.
  • 2-5 years of work experience, which should include a substantial time in Qualitative Research.
